"PINK OCTOPUS"/FEB.25, 2010

"Pink Octopus". Okay, I started this painting at around 11pm something and just got done now (1:00am). So this was a quickie lol. I used acrylic paint and a black Sharpie on this one. Honestly, I think my favorite tool to use when it comes to art is a sharpie. This reminds me of some graffiti type you would find in the late 80's.

Anyways, its been a tough few days for me, but I'll weather the storm. Its late, gottta wake up a little earlier tomorrow.. so goodnight world!

"SMOOTH CRIMINAL"/ FEB. 4, 2010

Tribute to the king, Michael Jackson. He passed away last year June 25, 2009. I swear it felt like the whole world shook when he passed. Michael Jackson had so many supporters and fans that it felt like he was somewhat a god. Even my Grandparents were fans of his music, that's THREE generations. It was cool to see how the world came together and how the media (MTV awards) embraced his success. RIP MJ! Thanks for Billy Jean, it's forever in my top ten. I hope you enjoyed this as much I did painting it. Until next time, Peacee!

"THE CREEPER"/ FEB. 3, 2010

It's entitled "The Creeper".This is one of those old school joints, if you're a boy then you should remember those comic books we used to read back in the day. I chose to do this because it reminded me of my happy, happy childhood and simply because Batman's a beast. I loved DC & Marvel, shooot.. I still do! So you'll be sure to see some more work like this in the near future. Hope you enjoy this, I'm OUTROOO!

VERY FIRST BLOG

Greetings World.
I'm making this blogger to showcase my artwork. Always had a big appreciation for creativity & art but lately through the past years.. I've been sluffin. I haven't been serious with my paintings for awhile and I just got back to it recently. And this time, it's serious business! I realized this is something God gave me to work with in life so I'm gonna share my work with YOU. I'm hoping to have my work cased in local galleries around town, but my main goal is to have a piece staged at the Seattle Art Museum, but that won't be for at least awhile. So for the mean time, i'm just taking it one step at a time to get there.

Oh, and i'll be sure to post some pieces up soon!
