"Love, Hate, & Everything in Between"

This was inspired by The Dream's album "Love Hate". This piece is self explanatory, of course. This was my first splatter type of art also i dont know if you can tell from the pictures but it's almost 3D like. Enjoy

"Dont Let Me.." (series)/ April 15, 2010

"Don't Let Me Fail/ Drift" (series)
Painting I: "Don't Let Me Drift"
sometimes you get distracted of what your goals are
Painting II: "Don't Let Me Fail, Sunshine"
you can fail at anytime, even when you're day going well
Painting III: "Don't Let Me Fail, Storm"
this is falling. everything is going horribly wrong, just get back up

We all fear of failure. We can be the best at what we do but still feel the pressure of failing. These paintings represent just that, the fear of failure. "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying." Michael Jordan summed up those words best. Never be afraid of trying for something you want to achieve because you never know until you try. And if you don't succeed the first time, keep trying until you've achieved it. All that hard work will be far more rewarding in the end when you know you gave it your all.

"I LOVE YOU TOO" APRIL 1, 2010

"I love you too" This piece was inspired by relationships. It could be you're significant other, parent, child, a friend, or anybody you keep close at heart. You can't get through a rough day without someone who you can always count on to be there for you. So, tell that someone how much they mean to you because tomorrow you never know.

"Y.O.U."/ MARCH 18, 2010

This is entitled "Y.O.U." simply because it points at you. And trust me, that can mean anything! The finger could be pointed at you because you're important, blamed, loved, hated... anything, let your imagination run. If you noticed, I enjoy doing artwork that can relate to people (example: the Batman piece reminds men of their childhood). Art isn't just supposed to look good, it should always have some kind of meaning to the audience. I've been in art galleries before and some of the art in there you're just like "WTF, how did this even get in here?!" Haha, I hate that kind of art but that's just me because those artwork doesn't make me think or reminisce about anything. Hopefully, my art doesn't cause you to do that. Its late, so goodnight and enjoy people!

"PINK OCTOPUS"/FEB.25, 2010

"Pink Octopus". Okay, I started this painting at around 11pm something and just got done now (1:00am). So this was a quickie lol. I used acrylic paint and a black Sharpie on this one. Honestly, I think my favorite tool to use when it comes to art is a sharpie. This reminds me of some graffiti type you would find in the late 80's.

Anyways, its been a tough few days for me, but I'll weather the storm. Its late, gottta wake up a little earlier tomorrow.. so goodnight world!
